Community life is inseparable from the activities of providing primary needs such as home ownership. However, not everyone can afford to buy a house outright due to economic factors. So we need a program to make it easier for people to buy a house. Over time, the emergence of Home Ownership Financing (PPR) products with musyarakah mutanaqisah contracts in sharia banking has become an alternative for people who want to buy a house that complies with sharia principles. In implementing the musyarakah mutanaqisah contract activities there are risks that can occur, so it is necessary to pay attention to several things such as: pillars, conditions and regulations in implementing the musyarakah mutanaqisah contract for Home Ownership Financing. This research aims to find out how the musyarakah mutanaqishah contract is implemented in home ownership financing in sharia banking. Therefore, before carrying out home financing, customers must also know about the regulations and mechanisms of musyarakah muanaqishah contracts from the fatwa of DSN-MUI, Bank Indonesia, and the Financial Services Authority.
