Pentingnya manajemen risiko operasional pada bank syariah dalam rangka meningkatkan kepercayaan pemangku kepentingan
Abstract
The rapid development of sharia banking in Indonesia brings new challenges related to the complexity of financial institutions. Risks that have a significant impact are risks that need to be managed well by sharia banks to ensure operational continuity and compliance with sharia principles. This article discusses the importance of operational risk management in Islamic banking, with a focus on identifying, measuring, monitoring and controlling risks. Operational risks in Islamic banks can arise from various sources, including internal process failures, technology failures, and external threats such as natural disasters and financial crime. A holistic and comprehensive operational risk management approach is very important to maintain the stability and sustainability of sharia banking operations. Through an effective process for identifying, assessing and managing operational risks, Islamic banks can minimize financial losses, protect their reputation and increase operational efficiency. Using the literature method, this article aims to provide awareness of the increasing importance of risk management in the banking sector, especially through regulations that emphasize good corporate governance and effective risk management. By understanding operational risks thoroughly and implementing operational risk management best practices, Islamic banks can successfully face future challenges and increase stakeholder trust.
