Abstract

Science and technology play a crucial role in solving various complex problems in the fields of health, environment and economics. This article explores this role in the Society 5.0 era, which is an evolution of Society 4.0 with deeper integration of digital technology in everyday life. Through a conceptual approach and literature study, this article discusses the definition, characteristics and development of science and technology, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced. The Society 5.0 era is expected to create an inclusive and sustainable society by utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Big Data.
