Improving Student Learning Activeness Through Problem-Based Learning Class VIII at MTs Almaarif 01 Singosari

Abstract

When learning, many students sleep in class and feel bored with the monotonous learning design. In addition, students also find it difficult to focus on the material explained by the teacher who only uses the lecture method. This study aims to increase student activity in class through problem-based learning during the process of learning mathematics in class. This research was conducted on statistics material. The research subjects were students of class VIII-D at Almaarif 01 Singosari Junior High School which involved 40 students.
