Permasalahan pengajaran bahasa Arab di MAN 2 Malang
Studi kasus di Desa Pagedangan Kecamatan Turen Kabupaten Malang
Abstract
Arabic is taught as one of the key subjects of the Aliyah Seminary in the Islamic studies curriculum structure. The aim of this descriptive study was to map the problems of Arabic language education in the madrasah aliyah of MAN 2 Malang. The problem of teaching Arabic revolves around the question of students' motivation and interest in learning Arabic. Due to different educational backgrounds, this symptom is related to differences in knowledge and learning experiences. Another issue is the availability of funds to support the learning and application of Arabic. Moreover, although teachers' competence standards were diverse and did not impose constraints on the teaching process, it affected the methodological skills of teaching Arabic in the classroom. On the other hand, the lack of time to study in schools makes it difficult to create a language-rich environment in schools and to expand Arabic teaching more widely. All issues are interconnected and require comprehensive and sustainable solutions.
