Permasalahan perilaku kurangnya minat membaca siswa-siswi di SDN 01 Losari: Studi kasus di Desa Losari Kecamatan Singosari Kabupaten Malang

The lack of students' interest in reading has a significant impact in the world of education today, especially the next generation of this nation are faced with various massive developments. So that it is required to always be ready in all situations that occur, especially in progress in the field of education. However, as a result of the low level of awareness of students in reading, it has an unfavorable influence, even though reading is actually a window of life, in which various knowledge can be obtained by students by getting used to reading. The role of the environment and various groups is of course very much needed in order to provide a great atmosphere to re-increase students' interest in reading so that the level of awareness in students' reading increases slowly. It is hoped that the purpose of this research is to provide the right solution to increase students' interest in reading at SDN 01 Losari, which is located in Losari Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. This research is a qualitative research with the type of research used, namely the case study method. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation and interviews by going directly to the field to observe the reading interest of students at SDN 01 Losari and conducting interviews with informants to find out the causes that affect the low reading level of students at SDN 01 Losari. The object of this research is the reading habits of several students at SDN 01 Losari with problems causing the students' lack of interest in reading. The results of the study indicate that there are several factors that cause behavioral problems of students' lack of interest in reading at SDN 01 Losari. These factors include: gadgets, parenting, family problems, and also social environmental factors.
