Penerapan metode diskusi pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah (MA) mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan Islam

Abstract

History of Islamic Culture, or what is often referred to as SKI is one of the most important subjects among students from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to Madrasah Aliyah. However, there are many obstacles that students encounter in these subjects. So it is necessary to have the right methods and strategies in teaching SKI. The discussion method is an appropriate method for teaching SKI, especially at the Madrasah Aliyah (MA) level. At this level students have begun to be able to express their thoughts and opinions. However, there are also obstacles when doing this method. Like the students who are less active in discussions and prefer to look for fast ways like searching on the Internet. This study used a qualitative method by collecting data through interviews and literature.
