Abstract

The backwardness of the Arabs of the Jahiliyyah era who had thoughts and believed that the Qur'an did not come from God's revelation but came from the Prophet Muhammad himself. This has made Muslim scholars or theologians examine more deeply the language and literature contained in the Qur'an and it turns out that it is true that the language of the Qur'an does use very high and very noble language. It was from there that the ancient Arabs believed that the Koran was a source of revelation that came from Allah SWT. This makes the science of literature and balaghah develop more rapidly until now. This science is called the science of Balaghah. This study used a qualitative research method with an inductive approach, which was then collected through literature review, citing, and analyzing related data sources. The linkage and relevance of Balaghah knowledge to the Qur'an is very minimally discussed both in scientific articles. The large number of studies that examine the application of certain letters to the branch of balaghah science, what are the branches of balaghah science, makes a lack of articles that discuss how the contribution of the science of balaghah itself in the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an. This research focuses on the contribution of the science of balaghah to the interpretation contained in the Qur'an.
