Analisis statistik gempa bumi di Pacitan Jawa Timur
Abstract
East Java is a province thet frequently experiences earthquakes. One of the areas most prone to earthquakes is Pacitan Regency. One of the causes of Pacitan being an earthquake-prone area is due to the collision between the continental plate on Java Island and the Oceanic Plate in the South Sea. Based on analysis data from the BMKG for the last 5 years, earthquakes in Pacitan with the highest magnitude occurred in 2022, namely 5,5 SR, while earthquakes with the highest depth occurred in 2020, namely 65 Km.
