Meningkatkan pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi volume bangun ruang menggunakan media lagu Rungkad

Abstract

In learning mathematics there is a basic competency that must be possessed by students, namely the ability to understand the material, the ability to remember a formula, and the ability to apply and understand a mathematical concept. This basic competence is also known as mathematical understanding. Through songs and singing, it is hoped that it can add to the attractiveness and interest of students in learning mathematics, especially in terms of remembering, understanding, and applying formulas, especially in volume material so that learning can be easier and more fun. The song rungkad was chosen because this song is currently viral. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was used as a method in carrying out this research which was carried out in class VII MTsN 2 Malang. And it is proven that the use of rungkad song media can improve students' understanding and learning outcomes.
