Pendidikan karakter dalam mengatasi tantangan moral dalam dunia pendidikan kontemporer
Abstract
Character education has become a major concern in education in response to concerns about declining moral values among the younger generation. This article discusses the importance of character education in shaping students with integrity, responsibility, and commitment to universal values. We conducted a literature review to explore the approaches, strategies, and impact of character education in schools. This literature study reveals that effective character education integrates ethical and moral values into the curriculum holistically, including inside and outside the academic environment. Educators and the school environment play a key role in shaping students' attitudes and behaviour, so they must serve as good examples and support the implementation of character education programs. Character education is important for human life, so the role played by the world of education must not only show moral knowledge, but also love and be willing to do moral actions.
