Abstract

Marriage is a dream for every human being to continue offspring. Marriage is a way that can be done by men and women to knit affection. The Qur'an explains that each partner in marriage has their own rights and obligations in order to create harmony. The serenity of the couple's soul is explained in several verses of the Qur'an. The concept of husband and wife as home and place to return is a beautiful concept that needs to be realized. Al-Qur'an letter Ar-Rum: 20 is one of the references related to the concept of a sakinah family. With thematic research, the verses of the Qur'an describe in detail how the concept of a soul-soothing partner can foster love in the family.
