Abstract

Elementary education plays a pivotal role in nurturing language comprehension and poetry reading skills. However, teaching poetry material that is engaging and aligned with technological advancements presents a challenge. Poetry instruction at the elementary school level often confronts students' difficulties in grasping its nuances. Conventional teaching methods may not sufficiently captivate students who are growing up in a digital culture. Leveraging digital-based learning through virtual video methods emerges as a promising solution. This article underscores the significance of innovative approaches in enhancing students' poetry comprehension. The integration of technology into education renders the learning process more interactive, enriched with captivating visual and auditory elements. Additionally, it offers easier and more flexible access to educational content. The implementation of video-based learning methods follows a structured approach encompassing planning, execution, and educator evaluation to attain desired and fitting learning outcomes.
