fungsi masjid dan elemen masjid
Abstract
This article discusses the close relationship between typology, function, and form in mosque buildings, especially in Indonesia. By considering various cultural and religious backgrounds, this paper analyzes how the choice of mosque typology, including traditional mosques, 20th century mosques, and modern mosques, has an impact on the function and form of the building. The function of the mosque as a place of worship, religious education, and a center for social activities is explained in the context of its relation to the selected typology. In an effort to describe the dynamic interactions between traditional and modern elements in mosque design, this article underlines how important it is to understand the complexity of typology, function, and form relations in the cultural and architectural context of Indonesian mosques
