Abstract
The development of information technology in human civilliation is currently growing rapidly in various aspects of life. This will certainly have an impact on various sectors and provide enormous challenges and opportunities, especially in the world of business. Information technology appears in several variations, including Data Processing System (DPS), Management Information System ( MIS), Accounting Information System (AIS), and others. Judging from the variety of infromation technology, of course, it will also have an impact on the filed of accounting, more precisely management accounting, in wich this field acts as a publisher of information in planning, controlling and in making corporate management decisions. These impacts can potentially be profitable opportunities or vice versa will provide challenges that can be detrimental to the company.
