Integrasi Islam dalam pendidikan Bahasa Inggris pada anak sekolah dasar
Abstract
Innovative learning in English education for elementary school students with the 4 basic language aspects of listening, speaking, reading and writing based on Islam as well as integration between Islam and English. Building an active classroom atmosphere, there are small games for students, thus dispelling boredom and loss of students' concentration which only lasts 10-15 minutes. Apart from that, training the confidence to appear to speak in front of many people, interaction in English. So, elementary school students do not experience learning that is just silent, sitting, and listening to the teacher explaining English material and the Islamic religion in class. Teachers can be more creative and innovative to find learning methods that are able to develop the 4 language aspects of listening, speaking, reading and writing while at the same time prohibiting Islamic knowledge with dependence on good and correct English. Thus, distinguishing the way of teaching at this time from the past, where learning is monotonous, English education is still not intensified because they do not know that English is very important for communication, especially in the current era of globalization.
