Abstract

The divorce rate in Indonesia is increasing, this condition affects the condition of families, especially children. There are many negative effects caused by divorce, not just divorce, but the psychological condition of children can also be affected due to disharmony in the household such as frequent fights, bickering, and mutual insults. Children will feel depressed and feel that the home they have relied on for so long is no longer a happy place. Many children's mental conditions were previously fine and even accomplished, but due to unsupportive family conditions, the child's performance decreased. Children need support, especially from the family circle, disharmony in the household will definitely affect the child's behavior, the child's personality, even the child's emotions. Sometimes children are also forced to side with either father or mother, children also sometimes choose to be closer to their aunt or uncle because they feel calmer and less pressured.
