Studi perbandingan sistem pendidikan modern dan islam tradisional
Abstract
This research aims to investigate the differences between the traditional Islamic education system and the modern education system in the context of values, teaching methods, and their impact on the formation of students' characters. Focusing on madrasahs or pesantrens as representations of traditional Islamic education and state-regulated formal education institutions as representations of modern education, this study examines the philosophical foundations, curriculum structures, and roles and objectives of education in both systems. Through a qualitative approach and comparative analysis, the research aims to identify the aspects that differentiate the two systems while exploring the potential integration of positive elements from each to create a more holistic educational approach. The findings of this research are expected to provide deeper insights into the complexity and dynamics of education systems while laying the groundwork for further improvements and developments in education.
