MEREKONSTRUKSI PEMBELAJARAN IPS: MEDIA INTERAKTIF, GAYA BELAJAR SISWA, DAN KREATIVITAS GURU DALAM MENUMBUHKAN PEMAHAMAN KONTEKSTUAL

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' experience in using interactive media, teachers' strategies in adapting learning to various learning styles, and teachers' creativity in designing interesting and contextual learning methods. In addition, this study also examines the synergy between interactive media, student learning styles, and teachers' creativity in improving students' contextual understanding. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques include: observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Participants in this study consist of social studies teachers and students who are directly involved in the learning process. The data obtained was analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results showed that students responded positively to the use of interactive media because it helped them understand social studies concepts more easily and interestingly. Teachers use a variety of strategies to tailor learning to students' learning styles, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches. Teachers' creativity in designing contextual learning methods contributes to increased student motivation and participation. The synergy between interactive media, student learning styles, and teacher creativity has been proven to improve students' contextual understanding of social studies materials. This research has implications for the development of more innovative and technology-based learning models. Schools need to support the use of interactive media and provide training for teachers in developing creative learning methods that are in accordance with student characteristics. This study also opens up opportunities for further research on the effectiveness of interactive media in various subjects and levels of education.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengalaman siswa dalam menggunakan media interaktif, strategi guru dalam menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan berbagai gaya belajar, serta kreativitas guru dalam merancang metode pembelajaran yang menarik dan kontekstual. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengkaji sinergi antara media interaktif, gaya belajar siswa, dan kreativitas guru dalam meningkatkan pemahaman kontekstual siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi: observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari guru IPS dan siswa yang terlibat langsung dalam proses pembelajaran. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa merespons positif penggunaan media interaktif karena membantu mereka memahami konsep IPS dengan lebih mudah dan menarik. Guru menggunakan berbagai strategi untuk menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar siswa, termasuk pendekatan visual, auditori, dan kinestetik. Kreativitas guru dalam merancang metode pembelajaran yang kontekstual berkontribusi pada peningkatan motivasi dan partisipasi siswa. Sinergi antara media interaktif, gaya belajar siswa, dan kreativitas guru terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman kontekstual siswa terhadap materi IPS. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengembangan model pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan berbasis teknologi. Sekolah perlu mendukung penggunaan media interaktif serta memberikan pelatihan bagi guru dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang kreatif dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Studi ini juga membuka peluang bagi penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai efektivitas media interaktif dalam berbagai mata pelajaran dan tingkat pendidikan.
