INTEGRASI MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERBASIS PESANTREN DALAM PENGUATAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL: STUDI KASUS MA DARUN NAJAH
Abstract
This study analyzes the management strategies of pesantren-based character education in strengthening students' social skills at Madrasah Aliyah Darun Najah, Malang, amidst the moral degradation challenges of the digital era. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results indicate: (1) Educational planning is executed through the "One Gate One System," integrating traditional salaf pesantren vision with the formal madrasah curriculum using TQM principles; (2) Implementation occurs through a tripartite education center: value internalization, self-development programs, and boarding culture habituation (communal dining, community service) which sociologically creates collective effervescence and social capital; (3) Evaluation highlights a "character paradox," where students exhibit high interpersonal social skills but weak individual discipline and environmental awareness. These findings confirm that peer influence and the hidden curriculum serve as stronger determinant variables than formal regulations.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi manajemen pendidikan karakter berbasis pesantren dalam memperkuat keterampilan sosial (social skills) santri di Madrasah Aliyah Darun Najah, Malang, di tengah tantangan degradasi moral era digital. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, penelitian ini menggali data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Perencanaan pendidikan dilakukan melalui sistem "One Gate One System" yang mengintegrasikan visi pesantren salaf dengan kurikulum madrasah formal, mengadopsi prinsip Total Quality Management (TQM); (2) Pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui tri-pusat pendidikan: internalisasi nilai dalam pembelajaran, program pengembangan diri, dan habituasi kultur asrama (makan talaman, ro'an) yang secara sosiologis menciptakan collective effervescence dan modal sosial; (3) Evaluasi menyoroti adanya "paradoks karakter", di mana santri menunjukkan keterampilan sosial interpersonal yang tinggi, namun lemah dalam kedisiplinan individu dan kesadaran lingkungan (eco-literacy). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pengaruh konformitas teman sebaya (peer influence) dan hidden curriculum menjadi variabel determinan yang lebih kuat daripada regulasi formal.
