PENGARUH PROGRAM ADIWIYATA, PENDIDIKAN LINGKUNGAN, DAN PERAN GURU TERHADAP SIKAP PEDULI LINGKUNGAN SISWA
Abstrak
Environmental awareness is an important aspect in the formation of students' character to support environmental sustainability. The instillation of this attitude can be done through the implementation of the Adiwiyata Program, environmental education, and the role of teachers in schools. However, in Adiwiyata schools such as SMAN 1 Dampit, student behavior is still found to be less reflective of environmental awareness. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Adiwiyata Program, environmental education, and the role of teachers on the environmental awareness attitudes of grade XI students. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a sample of 69 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, correlation tests, F tests, and coefficients of determination. The results showed that partially environmental education had a significant effect on students' environmental awareness attitudes, while the Adiwiyata Program and the role of teachers did not show a significant effect. However, simultaneously, the three variables had a significant effect on environmental awareness attitudes with a contribution of 37.7%. These findings indicate that environmental education plays a dominant role in shaping students' environmental awareness. Therefore, schools need to strengthen the integration of environmental education into learning, improve teacher role models, and optimize student active involvement in the Adiwiyata Program to ensure more effective and sustainable environmental character development.
ABSTRAK
Sikap peduli lingkungan merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan karakter siswa guna mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan hidup. Penanaman sikap tersebut dapat dilakukan melalui implementasi Program Adiwiyata, pendidikan lingkungan hidup, serta peran guru di sekolah. Namun, pada sekolah Adiwiyata seperti SMAN 1 Dampit masih ditemukan perilaku siswa yang kurang mencerminkan kepedulian lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Program Adiwiyata, pendidikan lingkungan hidup, dan peran guru terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa kelas XI. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 69 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda, uji korelasi, uji F, serta koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial pendidikan lingkungan hidup berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa, sedangkan Program Adiwiyata dan peran guru belum menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan. Namun, secara simultan ketiga variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan dengan kontribusi sebesar 37,7%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan lingkungan memiliki peran dominan dalam membentuk sikap peduli lingkungan siswa. Oleh karena itu, sekolah perlu memperkuat integrasi pendidikan lingkungan dalam pembelajaran, meningkatkan keteladanan guru, serta mengoptimalkan pelibatan aktif siswa dalam Program Adiwiyata agar pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan dapat berjalan lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.
