PENGARUH MEDIA CHROMEBOOK TERHADAP MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA SEKOLAH INKLUSI
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of Chromebook media use on learning interests and learning outcomes of inclusive school students. The approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design method using a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects amounted to 32 grade V students in three inclusion elementary schools in Cluster 02 of Kraksaan District, which were divided into experimental groups and control groups. Data collection was carried out through learning interest questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and observation of student involvement. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential tests, including normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. The use of Chromebook media was shown to increase students' interest in learning, which was shown by a higher increase in scores compared to the control group. In addition, student learning outcomes also increased with an N-Gain value of 0.60 (medium category) in the experimental group, higher than the control group of 0.24 (low category). These findings suggest that Chromebook media is effective in increasing student interest and learning outcomes in inclusive schools. Therefore, the use of technology-based learning media is recommended as an alternative to adaptive and innovative learning strategies.
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media Chromebook terhadap minat belajar dan hasil belajar siswa sekolah inklusi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental design) menggunakan desain pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 siswa kelas V pada tiga Sekolah Dasar inklusi di Gugus 02 Kecamatan Kraksaan, yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket minat belajar, tes hasil belajar, serta observasi keterlibatan siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji deskriptif dan inferensial, meliputi uji normalitas, homogenitas, paired sample t-test, dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Penggunaan media Chromebook terbukti meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan skor yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Selain itu, hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,60 (kategori sedang) pada kelompok eksperimen, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol sebesar 0,24 (kategori rendah). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media Chromebook efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah inklusi. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif dan inovatif.
