Implementasi aktivitas role play dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas 8 di MTsN 7 Malang
Abstract
This research aims to examine the implementation of role play activities in English language learning to improve the speaking skills of the students’ in MTsN 7 Malang. In this research, the approach used is a descriptive qualitative method which uses observation and interviews as the research instruments. Research findings indicate that the implementation of role play activities has a positive influence in improving students' speaking skills and provides opportunities to practice speaking in English. The teachers’ perspectives is very positive regarding the effectiveness of this method, based on the results of interviews the teacher explained that this method provides active involvement and motivation for students in learning especially in English.
