Kepatuhan terhadap prinsip syariah sebagai bagian dari manajemen risiko di perbankan syariah
Abstract
This study discusses compliance with sharia principles as an integral part of risk management in Islamic banking. In practice, Islamic banks are faced with challenges in maintaining operational compliance with sharia principles, especially in financing products such as mudharabah and murabahah. Non-compliance with sharia principles can pose reputational risks, legal risks, and decreased customer trust. Therefore, the integration between risk management systems and sharia compliance supervision is very important. This study examines the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS), risk mitigation strategies, and the influence of external regulations and supervision in ensuring the operation of Islamic banks in accordance with sharia. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of sharia risk management is highly dependent on the understanding of fiqh muamalah by operational implementers, internal supervision systems, and consistent regulatory support.
