Implementasi manajemen risiko reputasi dalam perbankan syariah di era digital
Studi kasus bank NTB Syariah
Abstract
The development of digital technology has had a significant impact on the banking industry, including Islamic banking in Indonesia. Digitalization increases service efficiency, but also gives rise to various risks, one of which is reputational risk. This risk is closely related to the level of public trust in banks. This study aims to analyze reputational risk in Islamic banking through a case study of Bank NTB Syariah. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature review. The results show that reputational risk can arise from weak digital security systems and imprudent financing practices. The case of Bank NTB Syariah, which suffered losses of Rp274.4 billion due to cyberattacks and problematic financing, serves as clear evidence of the importance of integrated risk management. Therefore, strategies to strengthen digital security, improve financing governance, and transparent communication are needed to maintain public trust.
