Abstract

Ramadan provides an opportunity to develop students’ religious values and social awareness within the educational environment. In Islamic educational institutions, various Ramadan activities can be utilized as part of the process of character development. This article examines the implementation of the Lentera Ramadhan program at MINU Tratee Putera Gresik, which aims to strengthen students’ religious character and foster their social awareness. The program consists of several activities, including the Ramadan Islamic boarding program, takjil distribution, affordable food packages for the community, and free food packages for local residents and orphans. Through these activities, the madrasah seeks to introduce and cultivate Islamic values while encouraging students to develop empathy, social concern, and a sense of togetherness in their community life.
