Kesetaraan gender dalam konteks marital rape

Abstract
Sexual violence is of particular concern which requires further handling, because the case has entered the scope of the household or marriage world. The term marital rape has been known as marital rape with similar effects as rape that has occurred outside the marriage zone. This is closely related to sexual justice and gender equality because again the victims are women. The formulation of the problem of this research is what is the general description regarding marital rape, what is the background to the occurrence of marital rape and what is the view of Islamic law with the existence of rape cases in marriage. This research is included in the type of qualitative research using a data collection process in the form of a literature review of the arguments of the Qur'an, news, journals, which are selected based on the theme concerned. The results of this study indicate that marital rape is an act of violence in the form of coercion by partners, both husbands and wives, or vice versa, to have sexual relations without their consent or consent. In Islam, the term marital rape is not recognized. However, Islam believes that sexual relations should be carried out with pleasure and decency, so that neither side feels victimized.
