Dampak keberadaan tambang batu kapur di Desa Bektiharjo Tuban terhadap lingkungan
Abstract
This research investigates the environmental impacts of limestone mining in Bektiharjo Village, Tuban. Although limestone mining makes a significant contribution to the economy of rural communities, its negative impact on the environment is very concerning. This research explains the positive and negative impacts of a limestone mine in Bektiharjo Village. Solutions to overcome these problems include environmental research and analysis, routine inspections, handling waste, avoiding conservation areas, and implementing reclamation. The economy is considered important in this situation, but environmental sustainability is much more important. Because, the two cannot be separated from each other. Both are very important for the lives of the people in Bktiharjo Village. Environmental sustainability is considered a top priority, while limestone mining remains an important aspect of the village economy.
