Peer Review Process

1. The author submits the manuscript to Jurnal Muta'allim.

2. All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Muta'allim must align with the focus and scope of the field of study and follow the article writing guidelines outlined on OJS. Submitted manuscripts must address scientific benefits or novelty in line with the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free of plagiarism. Authors are encouraged to use plagiarism detection software for similarity checks. The editor will assess the similarity level of each manuscript using Turnitin software.

3. The editorial team will review the topic's suitability for potential publication. Manuscripts that meet the criteria will be forwarded to the editor for further processing. Manuscripts that are not suitable for publication will be rejected.

4. The editorial team will check the completeness of the received manuscripts based on the guidelines for authors, compliance with the journal template, adequacy of references, originality (checking for potential plagiarism issues), and language accuracy.

5. Submitted articles will be reviewed by competent reviewers in their field using a double-blind review process. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements will be returned to the authors for revision. Reviewers will provide scientific comments to improve the content of the manuscript. Based on the peer review results, the editorial team will decide whether a manuscript can be published without revision, or returned to the authors for minor or major revisions; manuscripts that still do not meet the criteria may be rejected. For minor revisions, authors are requested to submit the final version of the manuscript with the required changes. For major revisions, the final version of the manuscript will be sent back to the peer reviewers for re-evaluation, and in this case, the peer review process will start again.
