Abstract

Lighting in the mosque is one of the important things that must be considered, therefore this article aims to find out how to evaluate and compare the natural lighting of mosques in Uin Malang, namely the At-Tarbiyah Mosque and the Ulul-Albab Mosque which have different glass colors in the building. , where the At-Tarbiyah Mosque uses clear glass while the Ulul Albab Mosque uses blue colored glass. From the measurement results it was found that the At-Tarbiyah Mosque was more in line with the SNI standard for mosque lighting, namely 2oo lux. So the use of windows with clear glass is more in line with SNI standards than windows with blue tinted glass.
