Analisis tingkat kebisingan di lingkungan gedung perkuliahan B dan C UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang
Abstract
The campus is a place where the teaching and learning process at the tertiary level takes place. One of the factors for having a good learning environment is avoiding noise problems. Noise on campus can be caused by various factors, such as vehicle traffic, building construction, campus events, and daily activities such as conversations between students. Facilities located near main roads will greatly disrupt student activities. So a study of noise levels in the lecture building area of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang which is located on Jl. Gajayana No. 50, Dinoyo, Kec. Lowokwaru, Malang City, East Java 65144. The aim of this research is to determine the noise level on the UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang campus and how it affects students' ability to concentrate on learning in the lecture building area of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Noise measurements were carried out for 2 days using a Sound Level Meter at 2 sampling points to calculate the Leq value. Based on the measurement results, the days, time ranges and locations with the highest noise levels occur on weekdays between 06:55 and 15:00, reaching 74 dB. The noise level on campus has met the sound quality standards set by KepMenLH No. 48 of 1996. The highest noise levels occur near the highway and noise levels decrease at points far from the highway.
