Digital transformation in zakat management provides convenience and efficiency in the process of collecting and distributing zakat funds in indonesia. However, behind these conveniences, there are still psychological challenges related to users’ sense of security and trust in digital zakat services, particularly regarding personal data protection and transparency in fund distribution. This study aims to analyze students’ perceptions of security and trust toward zakat distribution through the digital feature in the dana application. This research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The research data were obtained through online questionnaires distributed via google form to islamic banking students at uin maulana malik ibrahim malang. The results showed that the majority of respondents had positive perceptions toward the use of digital zakat features, with agreement rates above 50% on almost all research indicators. Although there was concern regarding personal data protection, respondents still showed a high level of trust in sharia accountability, the credibility of zakat management institutions, and transparency in fund distribution. The study concludes that the combination of technological convenience, information transparency, and the credibility of zakat management institutions are the main factors encouraging students to shift from conventional zakat methods to a more practical, secure, and trustworthy digital financial ecosystem.
