Wakaf produktif sebagai instrumen pemberdayaan ekonomi umat: Tinjauan literatur pada lazis sabilillah malang

Productive waqf can serve as an Islamic economic instrument that expands the social benefits of waqf assets for the community. This study aims to analyze productive waqf management at LAZIS Sabilillah Malang, its role in economic empowerment, the obstacles encountered, and its optimization efforts. The research applies a qualitative method using a descriptive-analytical literature review. The data were gathered from books, journal articles, official reports, and other documents relevant to productive waqf. The findings show that LAZIS Sabilillah Malang manages productive waqf through business units such as Minimarket Al-Khaibar VI and Pujasera Sabilillah, cash waqf management through Koperasi Sabilillah, and waqf asset utilization in the education and health sectors. Productive waqf also supports economic empowerment through business capital assistance, coaching, and mentoring for micro-entrepreneurs. The main obstacles include limited human resources, low public literacy, limited capital, insufficient business innovation, and suboptimal monitoring and mentoring. Therefore, improving nadzir competence, strengthening program supervision, developing waqf-based business innovation, and providing continuous public education are necessary.Downloads
