The development of digital technology has encouraged changes in Indonesian society toward the cashless society era. One of the growing innovations is mobile payment such as e-wallets, mobile banking, and QRIS. This technology is used in zakat management to facilitate payments and improve fund transparency. This article aims to analyze the role of mobile payment in the transparency of zakat management in Indonesia. The method used is a literature study through journals, books, and official reports. The results show that mobile payment can accelerate transactions, simplify financial recording, provide digital payment proof, and increase public trust in zakat institutions. However, challenges remain, including low digital literacy, limited internet access, and data security risks. Therefore, public education and stronger security systems are needed so that digital zakat management can run optimally, transparently, and accountably.
