The rapid advancement of information technology compels Islamic social finance institutions to modernize their financial governance to maintain the accountability of public funds.This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital platform adoption within the managerial system of Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) at LAZISNU Malang, while mapping the operational hurdles encountered during this transition. The method employed is descriptive qualitative via library research, where data collection was conducted through documentation and a comprehensive review of relevant academic literature.The findings indicate that the integration of digital tools—such as QRIS, e-wallets, and application-based financial reporting—has successfully minimized bureaucratic delays, expanded donor outreach, and enhanced public transparency. However, this innovation still faces critical challenges, specifically the limited technical competence of internal human resources, uneven digital literacy among older demographics, and cyber-security risks regarding sensitive data. Consequently, a long-term strategic formula integrating intensive public education, cyber-skills training for zakat collectors, and robust system upgrades is highly required to ensure technological utilization contributes optimally to community welfare.
