Peran hubungan masyarakat (humas) dalam meningkatkan citra di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Almaarif 02 Singosari Malang
Abstract
Image is the most important asset that educational institutions must have and develop. Increasing the image of an educational institution provides a positive reception from the general public regarding the quality and caliber of the institution. For this reason, it is important for educational institutions to improve the positive image of the institution in order to obtain a positive view from the public. An institution's image can be developed through public relations strategies in disseminating information and establishing good relationships with the community. Thus, the role of public relations is very important in disseminating information about schools to the public. This research aims to examine the role of public relations in image development efforts at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Maarif 02 Singosari Malang. This study used qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques used in this research were direct observation and interviews with internal madrasah parties in order to obtain information and data about public relations at Islamic elementary school Al-Maarif 02 Singosari Malang. Based on the data presentation and discussion, the results of this research can be concluded that the role of public relations at Islamic elementary school Al-Maarif 02 Singosari Malang has a very important role in increasing the positive image of the islamic scholl which is used to obtain a positive reception from the community. To improve the image of the madrasa, public relations has several strategies, including developing potential and increasing student achievement, disseminating information and publishing activities through various media and establishing cooperative relationships with the community.
